Callisto

I chose Callisto's story on pages 52-56. This story doesn't really explain me in anyway I just enjoyed the read. This was the saddest picture I could find from this story. Maybe that is why I liked this story; because it was tragic. I good girl who was raped by Jove and shunned by all she knew due to her pregnancy, and turned into a bear.
Why I'm attracted to this story I don't know, but something about how it was told or how Callisto fought against Jove made me enjoy it. I found it very strange that Juno didn't always goes after the girls that Jove rapes instead of Jove himself. Why is that?
Well this was one of the stories that I enjoyed and the picture shows the pain of being rejected by the others.

And one some of you may have forgotten Jesse Katsopolis. I respond to him as Pentheus responded to Dionysus and the Bacchus. My name is Jesse and so was his. All the gitty little school girls would talk about last nights episode of Full House. God it was annoying. But what made it worse was having the same name.


In all of these examples we have guys who were and some still are cool like the Fonz. And all these guys would drive women crazy, mad, wild. Some guys wanted to be them, others wanted to see them destroyed. I guess the play of Bacchae is still being played and always will be.
